Memory Grove: 300 N Canyon Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84103

A live, temporary, movement-driven, large art display will take place at dusk at the top of Memory Grove, March 26-April 4 (7:30-10:30pm). Call for Businesses!
===================
If you own a business within Fairpark boundaries, and you have wallspace you would like to do something with along North Temple in the areas shown below, email FairparkComCouncil@gmail.com with “BUSINESS WALL FOR MURAL” in the subject. There is currently a project underway to put murals along North Temple, and the FCC (Fairpark Community Council) is helping them make sure the murals are good and in-line with what the community wants. As a business owner donating your wall space for the art, your input, as a member of the community and one that is becoming engaged with the city on this level, will be vital for us, and the city, to receive!

===================
Call for Artists!
===================
If you have experience painting outdoor murals, the Seven Canyons Trust (a 501c3 for bringing underground waterways to the surface) could use your help painting murals for the Folsom Trail Hidden Waters city art project! The styles for various murals must match Fairpark’s current demographic demands, as well as encapsulate what makes Utah unique, to build UT pride in our capitol city, and show newcomers who arrive from the airport, just what SLC, UT is all about.
* you’ll see the application deadline has closed, but please still email info@sevencanyonstrust.org with “ARTIST SUBMISSION” somewhere prominent in the subject. Thank you!

This is a Utah Water Savers initiative, who also instated a $3-per sq.ft xeriscaping subsidy from the State.
Themes are minimal water use, waterless, drought-resistant, and xeriscaping.
* homeowners will be contacted about their nomination and not added to the showcase list unless they decide to participate.
